The IUOE International Training & Education Center is the largest and most comprehensive training facility for the IUOE in North America. The state-of-the art facility includes a large campus, mixed use buildings, dormitories, dining facilities and specialized training features (cranes, simulators, labs, etc).
This was a new construction project and included generators, UPS systems, extensive sitework, several training cranes, a fitness center / pool, building automation, data networks, and audio / visual components.
The scope of this project and the wide range of structures / facilities as well as the size of the campus made this a challenging project. It required extensive project management and advanced planning. In addition, extensive safety protocols were needed to manage the various environments within the project
